1. Project Background
The bank is developing many new web-based applications or portals that provides a range of services for business daily operations and corporate functions. These applications and portals will include functions such as user management, payment processing, data analytics, and more. Our team is looking for a UI&UX engineer to help us design and develop the user interface and user experience for these applications and systems.
2. Objectives of the Assignment
The mission is to empower the bank to make applications, micro-services and relevant digital outcomes based on a deep understanding of human behaviors, goals, and motivations. This role is expected to craft great experiences for users as part of “design thinking” and a user-centered design process.
3. Scope of Services
The UI&UX engineer will be responsible for the following objectives:
1. Develop a user-centered design for the web-based platform that meets the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
2. Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to demonstrate the user interface and user experience design.
3. Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform the design decisions and ensure the platform is easy to use and intuitive for the target audience.
4. Collaborate with developers and PM to ensure the design is technically feasible and meets the business requirements.
5. Continuously improve and iterate the design based on user feedback and data analytics to ensure a high-quality user experience.
6. Contribute to training video production of relevant digital projects.
7. Participate and contribute in sprints in the Agile/Scrum framework.
4. Consultancy Output / Deliverables
1. User research, Persona and analysis report.
2. Wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
3. Experience Maps, user journeys and user flows
4. Usability testing and quality assurance reports.
5. Design guidelines, style guides, and user manuals.
6. HTML/CSS templates and JavaScript code (Nice to have).
7. Training videos (instant and full version)
5. Implementation Arrangement
The work should be performed in AIIB HQ.
Remote work is only acceptable when On-Site condition is restricted.
6. Support to the Consultant by the Bank
Bank devices and work environment.
7. Knowledge Transfer and Training
The consultant will be trained with necessary systems' backgrounds and relevant process.
Qualification Requirement
1. Degree in Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or relevant field
2. Minimum 3 years of proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
3. Proficient in design tools such as xMind/Miro, Figma/Axure/Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
4. Proficient at using typography, iconography, colour, space, and texture in designs.
5. Familiarity with brand & style guide creation
6. Familiarity with agile methodologies and the product development process
7. Ability to clearly and succinctly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions
8. Team player with great discipline and able to work independently
9. A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
